Harpswell Neck Fire and Rescue is an all-volunteer, private, non-profit corporation. While much of the Fire & Rescue’s operating budget comes from the Town and from our active grant program, a full one third of the money necessary to provide timely, well-trained fire and rescue services comes from private donations.

It would be terrific if none of Harpswell Neck’s residents or visitors ever needed to dial 9-1-1 because of an emergency threat to life or property. But the calls do come, every week, and when they do, Harpswell Neck Fire and Rescue is there.
